Questions to Ask When Seeking Neurotherapy or Neurofeedback Services . . .

1. What are the qualifications of the therapist and/or supervising therapist?
2. Can this service be reimbursed by insurance under the license of the clinician(s)?
3. How is the diagnosis prior to therapy made – were standardized instruments used and are the clinicians adequately trained, certified, or licensed to interpret the data.
4. How is progress assessed?
5. When and how do we know that the therapy has been OPTIMALLY successful?
6. What other services are offered or provided in addition to neurotherapy to improve outcome?
