Dr. Michael Aronson
Michael Aronson, M.D. has practiced general adult and adolescent psychiatrist in Georgia for the last 20 years. A graduate of the University of Colorado Medical School, he first finished an anesthesia residency and practiced anesthesia in Denver, Colorado. Having then moved to Atlanta, he completed a residency at Emory University in Psychiatry and subsequently has been certified by the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Although familiar with psychopharmacologic treatments of all adult psychiatric disorders, his areas of interest and expertise are in the pharmacologic and somatic treatment of depression and anxiety. As well, he also treats Attention Deficit Disorders, drug and alcohol addictions and chronic pain. He is also an experienced psychotherapist who enjoys working with people to help them effect meaningful changes in their lives through insight-oriented therapy.
